



Obituary of Oscar James Nolan
Oscar James (Jimmy) Nolan of the Onondaga Nation Snipe clan has passed away. He was born August 11, 1936, he was a US Navy Veteran, Ironworker, and champion dancer. After his military service, he was a longtime resident of Hamilton, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, NY. He is predeceased by sisters Madeline Honyoust and Maxine Gonnella and brothers Leo Nolan, Bernard Nolan, and John Nolan, his son Darrel Nolan, and Lori Clause his daughter. He is survived by his sister Betty Babcock, his soul mate, Barbara Nolan Staats, and their children, Pat (Gordon) White, Dave Clause, and Don Clause, thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Ln, Lafayette, NY 13084. calling hours are 10:00 AM Thursday, May 16th, with the funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Onondaga Nation Cemetery.
