Obituary of Antoinette A. Sieradzke

Antoinette “Nina” A. Sieradzke, 87, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.  Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Vincenzia Gotto Trichilo.  Nina devoted her life to her children, especially after her husband, Julius J. Sieradzke, passed away in 1979.  She loved Christmas and was a phenomenal cook—especially when it came to Italian.  Most of all, Nina will be remembered as a good friend, and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Nina is survived by her children, Linda (Mike) Walters, Julianna Tremaine, Virginia Sieradzke, John Sieradzke, Victoria (Tim) Sieradzke, Barbara Sieradzke, Francine (Mark) Muir, and Roman (Joseph Thomas) Sieradzke; grandchildren, Mandy (Shawn), Candace (Stephen), Thomas (Heather), Michelle, Sheena (Brett), Ramona, Nicholas, and Jenna (Cody); several great-grandchildren; and twin brother, Jerome Trichilo.

In addition to her husband and parents, Nina was predeceased by a daughter, Geraldine; son-in-law, Tom Tremaine; grandson, Andrew; and siblings, Vincent Trichilo and Anne Cole.

Calling hours will be Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 10 a.m. to noon at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205.  A funeral service will immediately follow at noon at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse.
