Obituary of Edith M. Sanders

Edith M. Sanders, 90, of Nedrow, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Loretto.  Born in Syracuse, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Loretta Elie DeCoursey, and widow of Charles R. Sanders.  Edith primarily loved being with her family, but she also enjoyed cooking, baking, bingo, and traveling with family to the Outer Banks.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Bruce Jr.) Johnstone of Nedrow; grandsons, Bruce III, Charles and Eric Johnstone; great-grandchildren, Scott, Shayna and Darby; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205.  A funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
