Obituary of Donna H. Clawson

Donna H. Clawson, 62, of Tully, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.  Born in Syracuse on December 11, 1955, she was the daughter of Richard and Dorothy Herold.  Donna retired from Radiation Oncology at SUNY Upstate after 37 years, allowing her to spend time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time at her camp, the little red trailer, on Otisco Lake.  More than anything, she loved her family, friends, and helping others.

Donna was preceded in death by her father.  She is survived by her children, Matthew (Tiffany Fox) Clawson, Lindsey (Jason) Shaw, and Jesse (Sarah) Clawson; mother, Dorothy Herold; grandchildren, Rhett and Ryman Shaw, and Aubrie Clawson; siblings, Debbie (Bob) Bowman, Richard (Pauline) Herold, John (Lisa) Herold, and Dawn (Bill) Evans; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY 13084.  A Celebration of Life will take place at 4 p.m. at The Loft at Vesper Hills, 4291 Octagon Road, Tully, NY 13159.
