I worked with Jim many years ago in the SCSD. He was one of the very best Social Workers. He was calm and compassionate and had such a wonderful, gracefilled approach to his work. The kids adored him. Rest In Peace, Jim

I was fortunate to see Jim in a real At-Risk setting working with students. He knew the right balance when dealing with young people--- precisely what was needed. He was also a wealth of information regarding the education of young people. He made the community a better place.

My sympathy and regards to Jim's family. I was a colleague of Jim's for some years, and considered Jim the very best I have ever met at relating to and serving at risk youths.
We had many sessions consulting about appropriate services and methods for at
risk and rebellious youths. Both his methods and his personality were ideally fitted
for and appreciated in this service. Girdon Buck, School Psychologist, retired

We would like to offer our condolences to the entire Keech Family, Jim always had special nature and friendly greeting when ever you would meet him. We first met Jim in 1965, we took Jim and my uncle Don Six duck hunting in Clay NY, Jim never let me or my brother Dick forget this adventure. We always had some great times and memories of all the picknicks at Jamesville Res. Jim was like one of our Uncles.
Respectfully Submitted Jack and Rita Martin

Jim was passionate about working with kids with whom no else work. Sometimes his methodology seemed from a bygone age but the youth respected and loved him They did so because Jim always showed up. He stuck by them through thick and thin and created strict boundaries for their behavior. They always knew where they stood with Jim and Jim never held a grudge against a kid who was wayward. Jim success was that he showed up and he showed up year after year after year. God bless ye saint of the Church-Father Adrian.
