Obituary of Wilma P. Snook

Wilma Pearl Snook, 82 returned home to Our Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2007. Formerly of "The Valley" she resided at Van Duyn Home & Hospital in Syracuse, New York since July, 2006. Born on May 21, 1924 in Charlotte, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kate Heavner Alexander. She moved to the Syracuse area in 1969 where she met Robert L. Snook whom she married December 19, 1970. Following the marriage she made a special home for Robert and her daughter. Her greatest pleasure was taking care of the home, gardening and baking. She loved the holidays, particularly Christmas and Easter, decorating the family home from top to bottom. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 36 years, Robert L. Snook; her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Dana Rounds of Albany, New York and her adopted family, Kathy, Fred, Zack and Morgan Hill and many friends. Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York.
