Obituary of Margaret M. Ryan

Margaret M. "Peg" Gibo Ryan, 89, of E. Seneca Turnpike in "The Valley" of Syracuse, New York, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse. Margaret was born December 16, 1917 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Charles and Helena (Dacey) Gibo. She retired from the Syracuse City School District following 38 years of service as an elementary school teacher. She was a communicant of St. James Church and a member of the NYSRTA. She was predeceased by her husband, William A. Ryan, who died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Salli Ryan Terhune of Middletown, New Jersey; a son, Tim Ryan and his wife Gina of Syracuse, New York; five grandchildren, Stephanie O'Rourke, William Terhune, Michael Terhune, Tamara Moreno and Charlie Ryan; one great-grandson, Ryan O'Rourke. Services: Tuesday, March 6, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse and 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial: St. Marys Mausoleum, 4100 E. Genesee Street, DeWitt, New York. Calling Hour: Tuesday, March 6, 2007, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S.
