Allen R. Powell, 58, of Syracuse, New York died Sunday, February 25, 2007 in Clearwater, Florida. Born in Syracuse, he was a cement finisher for many years. Allen was predeceased by his father, Gerald J. Powell in 1996; mother, Dawn Bowles Powell in 2002; brother, Gerald Dennis Powell in 1996 and sister, Deborah Powell-Root in 2006. Allen is survived by his son, Allen R. Powell II of Syracuse, New York; three nieces, Tara Powell, Dawn Powell and Maria Squadrito; one nephew, Jude Powell.
