Obituary of Carl R. Cooper

Carl R. "Jr" "Specs" Cooper, 75 of Nedrow, New York died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Mr. Cooper retired from Clark Concrete in 2006 following 15 years of service as an ASTM Certified Quaility Control Officer. He previously worked for PTL in East Syracuse for 28 years. He was a member, Board member, coach and umpire with the Valley Little League and was an ISUA umpire. He was predeceased by his parents Carl J. and Roslyn Sweet Cooper, a brother; Gerald Cooper and a sister; Marilyn BerHague. Surviving are his wife of 45 years the former Joan M. Allen; two brothers, John (Clara) Cooper of Camillus, New York, Duane (Joyce) Cooper of Painted Post, New York; four sisters, Dorothy Grisaffi of Liverpool, New York, Shirley Mitchell of Syracuse, New York, Mary Fragola and Linda Brown both of Columbia, South Carolina; a step-brother, Joseph LaTour of Syracuse, New York; numerous nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, December 22, 2006, 1:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York.
