Obituary of Marion Bertha Phillips

Marion Bertha Phillips, 89, of Syracuse, New York, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Loretto in Syracuse. Marion was born April 3, 1917 in Marcellus, New York, the daughter of John J. and Grace (Jennings) Moore. She was a wonderful homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Elmwood Mother's Club for many years and was a Girl Scout troop leader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana L. Phillips Sr. and two sons, Dana Jr. and Howard Phillips. Marion is survived by her two daughters, Carol (William) Drake and Cheri L. Phillips Easton both of Syracuse, New York; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
