Obituary of Mildred M. Brown

Mildred M. Reed Brown, 84, of Syracuse, New York, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse. Mildred was born May 7, 1922 in South Onondaga, New York, the daughter of Albert and Marion (Smith) Reed. She worked as a supervisor at Community General Hospital for 15 years and previously worked at Crouse Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bird watching and baking, particularly apple pies. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick H. Brown in 1980 and by 18 brothers and sisters. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hardenburgh of Liverpool, New York; son, David (Gail) Brown of Wilbraham, Massachusetts; sister, Grace Reed of Camillus, New York; four grandchildren, Michael (Patti) Hardenburgh, Debbie (John) Greenwood, Jonathan Brown and Lauren Brown; four great-grandchildren, Michael (Marianne) Hardenburgh, Dereck Hardenburgh, Ariel Hardenburgh and Jonathan Greenwood; many nieces and nephews.
