Obituary of Arlene M. Scammell

Arlene M. Scammell, 90, of Lafayette, New York, died Friday, November 24, 2006 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Arlene was born in Watertown, New York. She was a bookkeeper at Syracuse Housing Authority and Home Care Inc. and she previously worked in the LaFayette School District. She was a member of Columbian Presbyterian Church and LaFayette Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry E. Scammell in 1983. Arlene is survived by her two sons, Ronald J. (Donna) Scammell of Cazenovia, New York and Richard W. (Mary Jane) Scammell of LaFayette, New York; five grandchildren, Beth (John) Episcopo, Bob (Melissa) Scammell, Sharon (Mike) Borza, Melissa Szymanoski and Ryan Scammell; nine great-grandsons and two step great-granddaughters; a sister-in-law, Winifred Miller; several nieces and nephews.
