Obituary of Patricia A. Richardson

Patricia A. Richardson, 71, of Lafayette, New York, died Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Patricia was born August 23, 1935 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Robert and Loretta (Vredenburg) Swanka. She was a graduate of Vocational High School and previously worked at Price Chopper in Dewitt, New York. She enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and abroad. She loved her immediate and extended family; prior to her illness, she enjoyed entertaining at home, particularly at holiday time. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence E. "Whitey" Richardson in 2005. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Judy (Harrison) Homer of LaFayette, New York; sons, Kevin Richardson of LaFayette, New York and Scott Richardson of Syracuse, New York; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
