Obituary of Betty S. Becraft

Betty S. Becraft, 87, of Syracuse, New York, passed away with loved ones by her side on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse. Betty was born June 29, 1919 in Utica, New York. She resided in "The Valley" in Syracuse most of her life. She retired after 27 years from Community General Hospital where she continued as a volunteer for another five years. She was a member of the Onondaga Hill Senior Citizens singing group. Betty enjoyed a full schedule of entertaining, taking motor trips, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Becraft in 1960. Betty is survived by her son, Bradford W. Becraft of Hamilton County, Adk., and grandson, Richard Becraft of Tampa, Florida. Memorial Service: Saturday, October 21, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Onondaga Valley Presbyterian Church, 275 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, New York where she was a member for over 50 years.
