Obituary of Julia Ann Daniels

Julia Ann Daniels, lovingly known as "Frama" by her grandchildren, age 66, of North Syracuse, New York died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at home. Julia was born August 17, 1940 in Hogansburg, New York, the daughter of Amos and Rose (Tarbell) DeGonzaque. She was a well known and respected antique dealer owning and operating The Antique Loft in North Syracuse for 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the Kateri Tekakwitha Committee and a lifelong advocate of making her a Saint. She was a founding member of the North Syracuse Native American Title IV program. Julia was also a published author. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, David Daniels who died October 31, 2005. Surviving are two sons, Matthew (Mary) Daniels of North Syracuse, New York and Randall (Margaret) Daniels of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter; Kelly (Ward) Daniels-Roesser of Clay, New York; two brothers; Ronald DeGonzaque of Tuscon, Arizona and Joseph Cook of St. Regis Reservation; five grandchildren; Carson, Conor, Julia, Jakob and Kasey; several nieces and nephews. Services: Wednesday, September 13, 2006, 9:15 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York and 10:00 a.m. at St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial will be private. Friends may call Tuesday, September 12, 2006, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York.
