I only met him once. Very reserved and quiet, he made our Pammie happy for many years so he must have been a good man.

Mel, I just cannot believe you are gone but you will forever be in my heart. I know we had differences but what brother and sister doesn't. I was happy that you won all those pill pools and was always happy to see you at Curley's. All your friends there treated you so well. It is comforting to know that you are with mom and dad and the brother and sister that you never knew. Always be at peace and we will meet again someday. Always know that Allan Dean will always be special to us. Love you always...Delores

Mel, you are a good friend and like a brother to me and are deeply missed. I wish I could tell you that your humor will be truly missed. Say ""hi"" to Lil, Bob, and Steve for me and I will see you all again someday. Save a seat for me.

I worked in the office at Greyhound for 23 years and knew Mel as a hard worker and dedicated father. I am so sorry to learn of his passing on so young. My thoughts and prayers go out to Allan and Pam and all of Mel's family.

I only regret we didn't get to see more of each other after I joined the Army. When we did see each other it was always like old times though. When I came back from deployment the first time you were the first person who helped me out. I will always remember what you did for me & Beck. I know you are in a better place now Mel. I will miss you dearly brother. Your bro in law. G
