Obituary of James E. Sauer

James E. Sauer, 55, of Syracuse, New York, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the home of his sister with his family at his side following a brief battle with cancer. James was born April 10, 1951 in Syracuse, New York. He was a telecommunications engineer and a Blues musician. He was a member of the Musicians Union Local 78. James is survived by his wife of two years, Patricia (Deer) Sauer; one daughter, Taylor Sauer of Indiana; two sons, Charles (April) and Karl Sauer both of Colorado; his parents, James & Margaret Sauer of Syracuse; five sisters, Jean (Edward) Cassala of Manchester, Connecticut, Janet (James) Kidd of North Syracuse, New York, Nancy (Kevin) Kraus of Clifton Park, New York, Martha (Michael Price) Pouliot of Syracuse, New York and Barbara (James) Williams of Central Square, New York; two grandchildren, three stepchildren. Funeral Service: Friday, August 4, 2006, 10:15 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes, 300 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
