Obituary of William Felix Stevens

William "Hap" Stevens, 72, of Nedrow, New York, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at home. William was born September 10, 1933 in Mattydale, New York, the son of William John and Ethel Maude (Sidley) Stevens. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy from 1951 - 1954 on Aircraft Carrier USS Midway. He retired from Crouse Hinds after 40 years and belonged to IBEW 2084. Hap is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janet A. (Soule) Stevens; son and daughter-in-law, David (Darlene) Stevens; daughter, Lori Roberts; grandchildren, Heather and Holly Roberts, Jamie and Dylan Stevens; great-granddaughter, Amber Body; brother and sister-in-law: Richard (Beverly) Stevens; special friends, Covenant Group at St. Paul?s Methodist Church, Brian Norton and the staff at St. Joseph?s Regional Dialysis Center on James Street in Syracuse. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Jean Nolan and Marilyn Stevens; brother, Robert Stevens.
