Obituary of Melba R. Lynch

Melba R. Korb Lynch, 82, of 136 Crestview Drive, Syracuse, New York died Monday, July 3, 2006 at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville, New York. Melba was born in Syracuse, New York on January 10, 1924, the daughter of Richard and Martha (Block) Korb. She was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and she worked in the Insurance Industry and First Trust Bank which has become Key Bank. Her husband Clyde "Pat" Lynch died in 2001. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd (Marion) Korb of Syracuse, New York; a nephew, Terry (Lynda) Korb of Baldwinsville, New York; grandniece, Bonnie-Sue (Donald) Willis of Massachusetts; grandnephew, Ronald (Rebecca) Korb of California; great-grandniece, Bonnie-Sue (Donald) Willis; great-grandnephews, Evan and Ian Korb; great-grandnieces, Riley, Casey and Meghan Willis. Graveside Service: Wednesday, July 5, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York. There will be no calling hours.
