Obituary of Gerald B. Carpenter

Gerald B. Carpenter, 84, of Syracuse, New York, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Gerald was born July 12, 1921 in Ontario, Canada, the son of Stanley and Elizabeth Carpenter. He retired as a bus driver for Centro. He was a member of Onondaga Valley Presbyterian Church and was an Air Force veteran of WW II. Gerald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Sweenie Carpenter; three sons, Donald G. (Carol) Carpenter of Syracuse, New York, Stanley D. Carpenter of Mexico, New York and Raymond G. (Shelley) Carpenter of Syracuse, New York; two sisters, Helen (Don) Roser of Florida and Doris (Raymond) Bittel of East Syracuse, New York; eight grandchildren.
