Obituary of Paul E. Gauthier

Paul E. Gauthier, 84, of North Syracuse, New York and formerly of The Valley in Syracuse, New York died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse. Paul was born June 21, 1921 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the son of Dosithee and Yvonne (Paradis) Gauthier and has lived in the Syracuse area since 1946. He retired from Allen Tool Corp in Syracuse in 1986 as a Tool & Die Maker following 28 years of service. He was a communicant of St. James Church. He enjoyed bowling, traveling and ballroom dancing. His wife the former Madeline Bougie died in 1987. Surviving are two sons, Marc (Lori) Gauthier of Locke, New York and Norman Gauthier of Texas; one daughter, Michele Naughton of Syracuse, New York; three brothers, Rodrique, Jean-Guy and Jean- Louis Gauthier all of Montreal; one sister, Claudette Numi of Montreal; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be Tuesday, April 18, 2006, 8:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse and 9:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 4100 E. Genesee Street, DeWitt, New York. Calling hours will be Monday, April 17, 2006, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, New York.
