Obituary of Dorothy Irene Rahrle

Dorothy Irene Rahrle, 89, of Chittenango, New York and originally of Nedrow, New York died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, New York. Dorothy was born June 3, 1916 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Lloyd and Emma Cogan. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Van Duyn Home & Hospital for many years and was a member of the Marine Corp League. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Rahrle who died November 26, 1974; a daughter, Marlene P. Sills and a grandson, Martin D. Sills Jr. who both died September 30, 1969. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Anne Sudol of Lakeport, New York; her son, Douglas Rahrle of Chittenango, New York; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
