Obituary of Maryann Phillips

Maryann Phillips, 78, died Friday, March 3, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Maryann was born December 22, 1927 in Malone, New York, the daughter of Ozias and Minnie (Steambarg) Lashway. She was the wife of John L. Phillips who died in 1993. She was a communicant of St. James Church, an avid BINGO player, enjoyed dancing and traveling to Florida to visit with her sisters. Maryann is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Gallien of Daytona Beach, Florida and Geraldine (Brian) Prusinowski of Baldwinsville, New York; two sons, David (Brenda) Phillips of Oswego, New York and Keith Phillips of Syracuse, New York; five sisters, Irene Fitzgerald, Pearl Spicer, Charlotte Peckham and Sherill Whitney all of Venice, Florida and Eva Barber of Bangor, New York; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Gerald and William Lashway. Services: Tuesday, March 7, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York.
