Obituary of John William Perry

John William Perry, 91, of Syracuse, NY, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. John was born in Chateaugay, NY, and was a proud WWII Veteran, serving in the US Army from 1944 to 1946. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College under the GI Bill. For twenty years, he owned and managed The Keg II, a bar on Syracuse's south side. In his free time, John enjoyed watching sports (especially basketball), traveling, and spending time with family. John is survived by his grandchildren, Shane (Deb) Perry of Syracuse, NY, Nicolle Perry of NC, Bree Perry (Jason) Bonham of TX, and Brent Perry of TX; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Jean of FL; and longtime companion, Lee.
