I would like to offer my condolences to Kenn's friends and family. I am a former co-worker of Kenn's and he was a joy to work with. We worked 3rd shift at a monitoring center, every morning at sunrise he would leave his desk to open the blinds and let the sun in. I would call his phone as soon as he got to the window and make him rush back to his desk... Kenn would get me back though! I have other such experiences with Kenn, some forgotten and some remembered. He had an easy way about him that let me think the best of him. Kenn was good to talk to, he helped me pass the time in a mundane job for which I was thankful at the time and for which I remember him. Kenn was a good friend and he is missed.

As a fellow staff member and friend, I can tell you Kenn made a huge impact on all who knew him. He had an "outlook" unique to him you couldn't forget that was evident by the vast array of people who attended his celebration today. His friendship will be missed but his outlook/memories left behind will long live on. His skewed sense of humor will forever be a part of all he knew him. You can't help but look back and say I'm glad you were part of my life. Thanks Kenny.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Kenn for several years working with him at Onondaga Community College. He was a wonderful friend, he was always smiling, helpful, and such a treasure to work with! He will be greatly missed by us all. I will never forget his kindness.

Ken and I have worked together in the Math Department at OCC since the 1980's. He has been a trusted colleague and a good friend. We always enjoyed sharing student stories and collaborating on new sections. Last year I was out on sick leave for a while and Ken was very caring and checked up on me often. I miss seeing his smiling face in the hallways. The world is a sadder place without him. My deep condolences to his family and friends.

Kenn was a thoughtful and caring person who I knew for 44 years. I was lucky to share his friendship with Steve and Mary Anne and others. He was a dear Uncle to my sons Geoffrey and Alexander whom he loved dearly. It is almost impossible for me to imagine not having him with us.
Kenn loved his sister Leona (Nonie) and her husband Ron with whom he spent many happy holidays together,
I'm glad that some of his other friends Mike and Glenn and Frank and Jim and Chris were able to share time with him including a special birthday last year at the Grasso -Grossman's home.
I don't want to forget a special student and friend he loved like a son, Jamie Arnold. When Jamie and his wife Ashley had a son, JT, last year, Kenn couldn't have been more proud and happy for them. Good work guys!
He loved many things including the history of science, wooden boats, the outdoors, birding and some so-called sport he called "hockey." He had a special relationship with this house that he kept working on.
He was an old friend. We travelled and camped together. He knew my family and I knew his. He was there for my wedding, the births of my sons, his nephews, my jobs and my education. We grew older as friends but, alas, will not grow old together.
In my heart he will remain, forever young.
Goodbye and farewell dear friend.
Jonathan

Herr Kile
When your Christamas card did not come I feared the worst. So sad that the doctors could not stop the decline.
Our days in German class will be a fond memory
