Obituary of Kathleen F. Sauro

Kathleen F. Sauro, 82, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday, July 10^th 

She drove school bus for Onondaga School district for 30 years. Graduated later in life from OCC an accomplishment in which she was very proud of. She helped at Literacy Volunteers and was the president of the Syracuse Professional Woman’s League.  She was a very avid supporter of the Syracuse Arts.

She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Hawley; granddaughter, Meghan Hawley; and left behind a large community of friends and extended family.

Calling Hours will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 1-3PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY 13084.  Services will follow at 3PM, at the funeral home. 

In honor of Kathleen’s vibrant personality brightly colored attire is encouraged.

Her final resting place will be in the Neptune Memorial Reef off the coast of Miami, Florida.
