Though I only met her twice, and saw her only twice, she was more than a pleasure, we shared smiles, we shared a laugh.
Vincene Caruana was the pure in soul and honestly the best person I've met. I know I'm late to say something, but I truly saw and felt she was the grandmother I never had, I will miss her every day, remind myself of her.
The second day I met her, was the best night of my life, she was kind and sweat, she shared a gift witch melted my heart, and something I still have to this day. I wish only the best for her, and her family as they live.

I was privileged to know Vincene for seventeen years. She was a beloved friend. She loved to pray with me. She was so trusting that God would hear and answer prayer. She prayed for my children and for me often.
Vincene was very giving. I could seldom leave her house without her blessing me in some way. She loved purses and collected them, yet she would seldom hesitate to give them away if she saw a need. She also gave away many Bibles. She loved God’s word and had a collection of Bibles. Her favorite was the Rainbow Edition that highlights the bible in different colors in a meaningful way.
Vincene was a wonderful cook and she loved to share a meal with others. She wanted others to have the joy of good food and dessert. She loved carrot cake, chocolate cake, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate chip cookies. Her friendship was so special to me. We were real with each other, enjoyed laughing, and carried each other’s burden too. I am going to miss her sweet spirit dearly.
She once told me one of her favorite songs was My Jesus by Anne Wilson. She loved this song because she said, ‘She often referred to Jesus as my Jesus.’ And Vincene really experienced the message of this song. One time she told me she went forward for prayer to have the mind of Christ. Then one day someone from church told her she had the mind of Christ. This reassured her that the love she had for God and others was the mind of Christ. This made her so happy.
These are the lyrics:
Are you past the point of weary
Is your burden weighin’ heavy
Is it all too much to carry?
Do you feel that empty feeling
‘Cause shame’s done and all its stealin’
And you’re desperate for some healin’?
Let me tell you bout my Jesus
He makes a way where there ain’t no way
Rises up from and empty grave
His love is strong and His grace is free
And the good news is I know that He
Can do for you what He’s done for me.
Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
And let my Jesus change your lIfe
Hallelujah, Amen
Who can wipe away the fears
From broken dreams and wasted years
And tell the past to disappear?
And all the wrong turns that you would
Go and undo if you could
Who can work it all for good
He makes a way where there ain’t no way
Rises up from an empty grave
Ain’t no sinner that He can’t save
Who would take my cross to Calvary
Pay the price for all my guilty
Who would care that much about me?
And let my Jesus change your life
Hallelujah, Amen

Don and Family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Vincene was always a kind, peaceful and sincere presence every Sunday as I grew up going to the Vineyard. I remember having ice cream at her house when I was little and it was evident to me then that she had pure unconditional love for her grandkids, her dogs, and the Lord. My mother and her shared a lot of quality time and I thank Vincene for sharing the love in her heart with my mom. My mom would call me and have a story of how they made each other laugh or a meaningful moment they shared while thrifting, eating, and spending time together. It was like a perfect friendship match made in heaven. My mother now has those beautiful memories of true friendship she will carry in her heart forever.

Vincene was so special to me. I want to extend to Don and his family my deepest sympathy. I remember the times that Don and
Vincene visited us when we lived in Middleville, NY. We moved to Florida and still continued our phone calls. You are now with
your Mom and Dad and siblings in Heaven. Love you dear cousin. Will miss you. God Bless you.
Cousin Rosemarie.

Don, I am truly sorry for the loss of your wife. She was warm and incredible woman. Whenever I was sitting alone at the Vineyard, she always came over to welcome me. Her actions were sincere. My favorite memory of her will always be her telling me that John and I should be a couple-she said it almost every week. I wish that I had said that we were a couple just in a little different sense of the word.
All my love and blessings,
Wendy
