Obituary of Phillip Allen Reed

Phillip Allen Reed, 65, of Charlotte , NC passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Phillip worked as a tool and die maker for Jaquith Industries for 27 years and as a facilities manager for the University City United Methodist Church in Charlotte. He was a member of the University City United Methodist Church in Charlotte and Vesper United Methodist Church in Tully, NY.

Phillip was predeceased by his brother Raymond Reed, parents Horace and Marion Reed and twin sister Phyllis A. Hobart.

He is survived by; son, Scott (Amela) Reed and Michael (Danielle) Reed; the love of his life and pride and joy, his grandchildren, Emma, Sophia and Mason Reed; brother, Steve (Jean) Reed; brother-in-law, John Hobart; niece and nephews, John Steven Hobart, Joel and Benjamin Reed and Abbie Patricia Reed.

Calling hours will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 PM.
