Obituary of Fredrick G. Passett

Freddy G. Passett Jr., 36, of Jamesville, New York, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Freddy was born December 16, 1969 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Fredrick G. Passett, Sr. and Mary Jane Christofel. He was a graduate of LaFayette High School and Onondaga Community College. He was a respiratory therapist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center and Cortland Memorial Hospital. Freddy was an avid Yankee and Cowboy fan, outdoorsman and fisherman with a passion for gardening and skiing. He loved country music, particularly Kenny Chesney. His family was his first priority and he enjoyed playing pranks on his wife, daughters and friends. Freddy is survived by his wife of 12 years, Tina Gates Passett; daughters, Alyssa (11) and Alexis (8); father, Fred Passett Sr. of LaFayette, New York; mother, Mary Jane (Richard) Scammell of LaFayette, New York; maternal grandfather, Ed Christoffel of LaFayette, New York; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Kimberely Lydia Passett in 1969 and grandparents, Nancy Christoffel and Helen Cole. Memorial Service: Saturday, November 4, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York.
