Obituary of Barbara Jean Smoke Muck

Barbara Jean Smoke Muck, 69, of Syracuse, New York passed away Monday, September 25, 2006 in her home after a long period of illness. Barbara was born January 6, 1937 on the Onondaga Nation, the daughter of Leon Smoke and Martha George. She was a member of the Snipe Clan. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert J. Muck Sr.; six sons; Robert J. Jr. (Renie) Muck, Russell J. Muck, Richard J. Muck, Raymond J. Muck, Roland J. Muck and Ronald J. Muck; four daughters; Martha Smith, Melissa Muck,, Maureen (Robert) Wilson and Madeline (Randy) Mandigo; one brother; Alan Smoke; two sisters; Laura Power and Carol Powless, 25 grandchildren, four plus one great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Service: Thursday, September 28, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 116 W. Corning Avenue, Syracuse, New York. Burial will be private.
