Obituary of Douglas Hunt Campbell

Douglas Hunt Campbell, 71, of Leesburg, Forida died Monday, May 29, 2006. Mr. Campbell was born in Syracuse, New York and moved to Central Florida in 1995. He was a member of the Episcopal church and was an US Army Veteran who served in Germany. He was the owner and operator of Campbell?s Valley Diner, Inc. and was a proud member of the Valley Men's Club, where he was chosen "Man of the Year" in 1983. Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife, Sue W. Campbell; twin brother, David Campbell of Leesburg, Florida; son, William Campbell of Cortland, New York; daughter, Cynthia Akers of South Attleboro, Massachusetts; sister, Nancy Schattner of Skaneateles, New York; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: Wednesday, June 28, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York. Please, no flowers.
