It was an honor and pleasure to work with Ed. Truly one of "Syracuse's Finest". He had a gift when it came to police work. A friend, teacher and leader wrapped up in one, he will be missed.

Uncle Ed R.I.P.
Thank you for your wisdom and care. You taught us young rookies so much out there in the streets of Syracuse on midnight's. I grew up under the best Sgt. in SPD. I'll forever cherish those memories;

To the Uhlig Family,
Thanks for sharing Ed. He was a great teacher, a great partner. He shared so much with all who worked with him and never left until the job was done. It is a pleasure and honor I will not forget.
Sincerely,

Ed was a dear friend of my father Jim Sculley and our family. He was a blessing to us when my father passed last July. He helped us so much with arrangements at the legion for the reception. I knew Ed all of my life and he will be dearly missed and forever remembered. My sincerest condolences on your loss. May God bless your family.
