My name is Gabby, but I am recent graduate with my masters Matsers degree in curriculum and instruction for a childhood education. Mrs.Conners was my fifth grade teacher and a true inspiration and reason I became an educator. I am so proud to say that I had an opportunity to learn from her and. , understand the true meaning of education. Caring about your students first before the curriculum, and understanding that they’re a person first. These valuable lessons will live through me for the rest of my career and so will her legacy❤️

Mr. Conners, my name is Sophia and I’m so sorry for your loss. She was my teacher last year and when she left I was so sad. But to make me feel better, teachers tell me about all the stories. Just like how you and her listened to the country song in the car together. If there is one thing I want you to know is that she was a really wonderful lady and brought a warm feeling to her students. I liked to call her Joy not just cause of her middle name but because she really did bring joy to not just me, but every student she had. I know kids that said she was so nice to them in the hall and they didn’t even have her. Mrs. Conners really did make a difference in our school. I know and I hope you know that she is with us. Mrs. Wasiluck told me how she saw that eagle on the way to Boston so I always look out for one because I know it’s like her spirit animal. I really hope that the farm with the horses and the dogs are ok. For you I wish that every time you think of her you smile because all the things you think will be positive since she brought that sunny personality out everyday. So there are so many happy memories!! I know she is in a good place and everything will work out.

I miss you terribly, gal, but I'm trusting that Mom does not ! ... because you're with each other and our Lord. All he needed to say was "Laura !, Karen !" ... like long ago he said "Mary !"

Mr.Conners, I am so sorry for your loss.
Mrs.Conners was my 5th grade math teachers and one of the most amazing teachers I’ve ever had. I enjoyed visiting her at Gillette a couple times every year and the last time I saw her was in the beginning of last year before she got sick. Me and her talked and laughed for almost an hour and it was just one of the best conversations I’ve ever had. I will always remember her for being an amazing teacher. She always told me I was a good student whenever I doubted myself and thought I couldn’t do it. Last year was a very hard year for me and I came to her for advice and she told me that I could do it. The last thing she said to me was to make her proud.
Rest In Peace Mrs.Conners ❤️

Mrs. Conners was my fifth grade teacher. I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of this truly beautiful soul. She has been a strong influence to my life today 18 years after I had her. She kept in touch with me for many years and inspired me to be the teacher I am today. God blessed everyone that met her. My condolences to everyone who knew her and were touched by her in some way, especially her family.

You may fall out of touch, but you never forget the people who leave a lasting impression. Mrs. Conners — Miss Richardson, when I had her — was one of those people. She was someone who loved her students so much, she invited us to her wedding.
I remember her silly songs, her love of Scooby Doo, and getting lost in Narnia as she read it out loud. Her encouragement for all of my weird quirks meant so much to me — she allowed me to put on a class play for no reason, let me design and make name tags for everyone’s desk, and didn’t think I was weird at all for making her a polymer-clay-adorned treat jar for her dogs at home.
I’ve thought of her often over the years. I know how much of an impact she left on so many of her students. We were so lucky to have her.

Mrs. Conners was one of my favorite teachers of all time. I was a sensitive, shy kid, and she really helped me to succeed and come out of my shell. She was always so positive, and she inspired me to become a middle school teacher myself. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing.

Mrs. Conners was one my favorite teachers. She cared very much about each of her students and it showed. I have so many great memories from my year in her classroom. I got the hiccups often, and she would sneak me jolly ranchers to help get rid of them when the other kids weren’t watching. I thought that was the coolest thing. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Conners had such a positive impact on our daughter at Gillette Rd. She cared so much and my daughter could feel that. My daughter strived because of that. She helped my daughter in such a way that we will forever hold her in our hearts. God bless you all.

Laura was my favorite teacher I had during grade school. She made my transition to middle school easy. She kept us safe during the 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States. I’ll never forget our classroom parties for being well behaved and all the narnia movies. She loved being a teacher and it really showed. My condolences to her family and all other friends. Heaven truly gained an angel.

Mrs. Connors will forever live on in our hearts as a most beloved teacher and friend. She took our lizzie under her wing by opening her heart and home to her- lizzie spent many hours at mrs. Connor’s home, where she relished the privilege of helping care for her beloved horses. Our hearts go out to her family and many friends at this time. We feel so blessed to have known her.
