Obituary of Robert J. Houghton
Robert J. Houghton, 91, of Syracuse passed away on Thursday, June 13th with his family by his side. He is a WWII Army Veteran and was a building supervisor for Hayner-Hoyt for over 20 years. Robert loved spending time with his family at the camps in Jamesville and Alexandria Bay. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Barbara (Tuzio); Four children; Howard (Kathy) Houghton, Donna Greene, Gary (Mary) Houghton and Steven (Darlene) Houghton; 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 17th from 4PM to 7PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse. A funeral service will be Tuesday, June 18th at 10 AM at Our Lady of Hope, Salina Street, Syracuse with burial to follow in Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
