Obituary of Larry B. Martin

Larry B. Martin, 76 of LaFayette, NY, peacefully joined the Lord on August 17th 2019, surrounded by his family.

Larry was born on September 18th 1942,  to William and Mary Barkley in Fort Knox, Kentucky.  He was a kind,patient,hardworking, husband and father who devoted his life to serving others. Larry expressed his faith through service in his community as an active member of the Church, Fire Dept.,Optimist Club and School events. He was a loyal employee of El paso Energy/Tennessee Gas for 46 years.

Larry was predeceased by his wife, Nannette; and is survived by his Sister, Sandy Martin, Brother, William Barkley; sons, Mike and Jeff;  daughters, Lorrie and Allison; 10 grand- children and 6 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held  Friday August 23rd from 4pm-7pm at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Ln, LaFayette. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 24th at 10am in Columbian Presbyterian Church, LaFayette.

A celebration of Larry’s life will immediately follow at the Columbian Presbyterian Church.
