Obituary of Jeannette J. Rommel

Jeannette J. Rommel, 84, of "The Valley" in Syracuse, New York, died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse. Jeannette was born June 23, 1922 in Fort Kent, Maine, the daughter of Belone and Zeline (Deschene) Roy. She was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Portland, Maine. She was a Registered Nurse who cared for patients both in Hospitals and personal homes. Her husband George F. Rommel died in 1992. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, James C. and Janet Rommel of Syracuse, New York; three grandsons, Greg, Jeff and Tim Rommel. Services will be private. Burial will be private in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Road, Syracuse, New York. There will be no calling hours.
