Obituary of Edward G. Allen

Edward G. "Eddie" Allen, 69 of LaFayette, New York died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at home. A native of Parma, Ohio. He retired from Killian Manufacturing Corp. as a machine operator and also worked as a well driller for eight years with Allen Well Drilling. Mr. Allen was member of Pioneer Gas Engine Association, New York Steam Engine, Inc., Central New York Two Cylinder Club and Jamesville Sportsman Club. He was predeceased by a brother Richard Allen in 1993. Surviving are his wife the former Carol Lee Teabo, a son: Bradley "Brad" (Dawn) Allen of Navarino, brothers; Fran Allen of Manlius, New York, John (Ellie) Allen of Kirkville, New York and Robert (Elizabeth) Allen of Moravia, New York, sisters; Betty Jane Windhausen of Fabius, New York and Shirley (Mitchell) Smith of Phoenix, New York, two grandchildren; Cole and Leo Allen, two step-grandchildren Timothy and Katelyn Wayner, many nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., LaFayette. Burial will be in LaFayette Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, November 13, 2006 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 2584 Field Lane.
