Obituary of Irving E. Young

Irving E. Young, age 88, of Brighton Towers, Syracuse, New York, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at home. Irving was born August 23, 1918 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Irving E. and Mildred Ruth (VanDusen)Young. He retired from Syracuse Paper & Twine in 1983 after 25 years and was a Navy veteran of WW II. He loved fishing, gardening and sports. He was preceded in death by his parents. Irving is survived by his two sisters, Rita M. Wilber of Newport, New York and Ruth M. Hartzel of Livonia, Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service: Monday, August 28, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
