Obituary of Ralph A. Reiss

Ralph A. Reiss, 71, of LaFayette, New York passed away Monday, May 8, 2006 at home. Ralph was born August 20, 1934 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Ralph I. and Dorothy A. (Moser) Reiss. He was a life resident of LaFayette retiring in 1991 after 20 years with the Town Highway Department. He also owned and operated Ralph's Rubbish Removal for 30 years. He was a past member of LaFayette Fire Department. Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Gertrude Hicks Reiss; two daughters, Debra (Lauran) Gougeon and Sharon Taddeo; two sons, James (Karen) Reiss and Tim Reiss; three sisters, Pearl Clark, Charlotte Clark and Beverly Cook; 11 grandchildren, Karen, Geoffrey, Brandon, Andrew, Erin, Emily, Jamie, Zakery, Roman, Tucker and Cameron; several nieces and nephews. Services: Friday, May 12, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York. Private Burial: White Chapel Memory Gardens, Kinne Road, Dewitt, New York.
