Catherine E. Pietromonica, 80, of Lafayette, New York died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Francis House in Syracuse, New York. Catherine was born July 16, 1925 in Naples, Italy, the daughter of Gennaro and Concetta (Villani) Russo. In Italy, she was a stenographer. She was a member of Buckley Road Baptist Church in Liverpool, New York and LaFayette Alliance Church in LaFayette, New York. She was a magnificant cook of both Italian and non-Italian dishes. She was a firm believer and reader of the Bible. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daugher, Wanda Prater, December 25, 1980. Catherine is survived by her husband of 60 years, Patsy Pietromonica; three daughters, Mary Ellen Delaney of Hastings, New York, Cynthia (Steve) Kosturik of Fabius, New York and Carmella (Dan) Miller of Elbridge, New York; two sons, Gene (Susan) Pietromonica of Skaneateles, New York and John Pietromonica of LaFayette, New York; three sisters, Titina Scalas and Cesarina Pinto both of Bagnoli, Italy and Anna (Vincent) Scripa of Liverpool, New York; two brothers, Corrado Russo and Aldo Russo both of Naples, Italy; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: Monday, March 27, 2006, 10:00 a.m. in Buckley Road Baptist Church, 4962 Buckley Road, Liverpool, New York with Pastor Dan L. Smith officiating. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York. Calling Hours: Sunday, March 26, 2006, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S.
