Obituary of Margaret M. Vaughan

Margaret M. Scully Vaughan, of "The Valley" in Sryacuse, New York, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at home. Margaret was born in Lancaster, New York, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Griffin) Scully. She was a graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business School and retired as a secretary from the Syracuse City School District in 1973. She was a communicant of St. James Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand Vaughan in 2000 and a brother, Thomas Scully in 1977. Margaret is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom (Colleen) Vaughan of Syracuse, New York; three daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret "Candy" (Paul) Gatta of Liberty, New York, Patricia (Robert) McLean of Syracuse, New York and Virginia (Steve) Wixson of Buffalo, New York; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services: Tuesday, March 21, 2006, 9:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 4100 E. Genesee Street, Dewitt, New York. Calling Hours: Monday, March 20, 2006, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S.
