Obituary of Marian Sis" McElhannon

Marian "Sis" Quartier McElhannon, 82, of LaFayette, New York died Thursday, February 16, 2006 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Marian was born November 21, 1923 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of John and Agnes (Gosher) Quartier. She was a communicant of St. Joseph?s Church in LaFayette, an avid bowler and a great cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. McElhannon Jr., September 21, 2004. Marian is survived by her four sons, Rick McElhannon of China Grove, North Carolina, Robert McElhannon of LaFayette, New York, Jamie (Patsy) McElhannon of LaFayette, New York and Roger (Sharon) McElhannon of LaFayette, New York; two brothers, Jack (Nancy) Quartier of Cicero, New York and Jim (Kitty) Quartier of Jamesville, New York; sister-in-law, Marilyn Quartier of North Syracuse, New York; 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Services: Monday, February 20, 2006, 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 6136 Cherry Valley Turnpike, LaFayette, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
