Obituary of Roger Rarick

Roger H. Rarick, 94 of Syracuse died Friday at Community General Hospital. Mr. Rarick retired from International Harvester in 1978 following 30 years of service a the Warehouse Manager. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII, and was recipient of the Bronze Star. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading and was always up to date on current affairs. His wife the former Charlotte Jaeger died in 1987. Surviving are two sons; Richard of Syracuse and David (Maxine) Rarick of Sheffield Lake, OH., a sister; Jane Mason of Syracuse, five grandchildren; Jason, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Richard and Valerie Rarick, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc, Syracuse. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home 4612 S. Salina Street.
