Obituary of Preston E. Wells

Preston E. Wells, 84 of Liverpool, formerly of Andrews Street in Massena, died Thursday at Loretto. He retired from Homestead Dairy as a Milkman following many years of service. He was a member of the Massena F&AM. He was an avid NY Yankees fan and enjoyed College Basketball particularly Syracuse University and vegetable gardening. Surviving are his wife the former Marion Leafe, Son; David Wells of Manchester, N.H., Daughters: Susan (Jerry) Calhoun of Arlington, VA., Jane (George) Tartick of Liverpool, Brother; Graham (Margaret Jane) Wells of Phoenix, Sisters; Wyonna (Arthur) Kropa of Verona, Maureen (Larry) Ziegler of Cross Lake, Sister-in-law; Florence Wells of Baldwinsville, five grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse. Spring burial in Hale Cemetery, Norfolk. Calling hours will be 12:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina Street.
