Obituary of Raymond Earl Halsey

Raymond Earl Halsey, 86, of Jamesville, New York, died Monday, January 30, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Raymond was born February 19, 1919 in Albion, New York, the son of Earl and Marion (Stowell) Halsey. He retired from Sims Casting Co. in 1984 after 35 years. He enjoyed watching baseball, particularly his favorite team, the New York Yankees. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Goodwin Halsey, June 20, 1998. Survivors: One daughter, Diane Loomis of LaFayette, New York; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cynthia Halsey of Kirkville, New York; two sisters, Marion Ginn of Mexico, New York and Reatha Spedding of Pulaski, New York; four grandchildren, Lana Capria, Bill Conway, Kelly Halsey and Kim Shirtz; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
