Obituary of Vivian Anna Wilson

Vivian Anna Janes Wilson, 82, life resident of Syracuse, New York, died Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the Jewish Home of CNY. Vivian was born June 12, 1923 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Lawrence W. and Anna M. (Detzel) Janes. She retired from Syracuse University where she worked as a secretary for 12 years and previously worked at the V.A. Medical Center in Syracuse where she was secretary to the Chief of Staff and a Supervisor for 14 years. She was a former member of LaFayette Avenue United Methodist Church. She was a member of Wagon Wheel Senior Center and a past member of Eastern Star and White Shrine. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Wilson, May 24, 2001. Surviving are two daughters; Patricia Isabelle Wilson of Sacramento, California and Joan E. Wilson of Syracuse, New York; one son; Michael (and wife, Vicki) Wilson of Stroughton, Massachusetts; three grandchildren; Mathew Wilson, Kris Buckler and Jacob Buckler; three great grandchildren, Anthony, Ethan and Haylee Buckler. Services: Saturday, November 12, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial: Tuesday, November 15, 2005, 2:00 p.m. in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York. Calling Hours: No calling hours.
