Obituary of Irene Cook Pross

Irene Cook Pross died Friday, September 1, 2005 in Palm Garden Nursing Home, Largo, Florida. Irene was born in North Brookfield, New York and lived in Syracuse, New York where she retired from McKinley-Brighton School after teaching for many years in the Syracuse City School District. She moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1968. Surviving are one sister, Ola Lunsford of Syracuse, New York; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Cummings O'Dell in 1980. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, St. Petersburg, Florida.
