Obituary of Francis Harold Haynes

Francis Harold Haynes, 66, of 600 Winchester Road, E. Syracuse, New York died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at the VA Medical Center. Francis was born December 20, 1938 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Charles and Nettie (Doehner) Haynes. He attended SUNY Brockport. He retired after 20 years as a mail handler with the US Postal Service and was formerly employed by General Electric. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam and was "Syracuse?s #1 Dallas Cowboy Fan". Francis is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Kelli (Mark) Calabria of Mattydale, New York and Pamela (Andrew) Vecchio of East Syracuse, New York; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kevin (Darlene) Haynes of Mattydale, New York and Francis "Michael" Haynes of Mallory, New York; two sisters, Betty Passafiume and Shirley Ashworth both of East Syracuse, New York; one brother: Raymond Haynes of Bridgeport, New York; six grandchildren, Francis Michael Haynes II, Kelsey, Corey and Isabella Vecchio, Jina and Michael Calabria; his former wife and friend, Jewel Carver Haynes. Services: Monday, July 25, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: Assumption Cemetery, 2401 Court Street, Syracuse, New York.
