Obituary of James Charles Jenkins

James Charles Jenkins, 77, a loving husband, father and grandfather, of The Valley, in Syracuse, New York died Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse following a brief illness. James was born December 3, 1927 in Utica, New York, the son of the late Mary Irene Rose and Warren C. Jenkins. He was a graduate of LeMoyne College Class of 1952 and retired from Peter Frasse Steel Company, Inc. in 1987. An avid golfer, he was a member and twice Club Champion of Tanner Valley Golf Club. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years the former Marilyn Milligan, three sons, James F. (Patty), Peter A. (Ruth) and Steven D. Jenkins; three daughters, Tacy Jenkins (Stanley Schad), Katie (Mark) Whitney and Martha (Robert) Ganley all of the Syracuse area; four grandsons, three granddaughters, brothers-in-law, John Milligan and S. Arthur Milligan and a sister-in-law, Margaret Mulcahy. Funeral Services: Tuesday, June 28, 2005, 9:00 a.m. in Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 259 E. Onondaga Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York. Calling Hours: Monday, June 27, 2005, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. 4612 S.
