I worked with Edith at Syracuse China during the 50' and 60's. I think she was one of the finest people I have ever known. Ever with the difference in our ages we were very good friends. She was what I would call a spark of fire. She always walked briskly and never slowed down. One day a number of years ago I was at Hancock Airport with my Mother and I heard a brisk walk behind me and I said to my Mother I know that walk. I turned around and sure enough there was Edith. She happened to be flying to Florida to see her niece in Saratoga. I was heading to Saratogo too. We talked and then went our own way in Florida. I know how much you will all miss her. I will say a prayer knowing that she will now meet Ken in heaven.Sincerely,Betty Duxbury
